Music – Zikomo | I know I will

I first found this song on a wintery Saturday evening back in 2013 when I was a first year training at college. I remember how body was absolutely killing me, absolutely shattered and it was only the first week back.
This tune popped up through Chillhop Music 24/7 radio (big up to those guys, you want good music, check out there feed.. so so dope) I was just relaxing with my Dre Beats on.. and the vibes….. unreal.
I’ve kept it safe in a visual locker ever since because I’ve wanted to wait for the right opportunity.

This is the first chill session where I’ve incorporated tap and also my drone! It just seemed right to use this tune, it had a lovely simple beat that subtly grew in dynamics. Plenty for a talented tap crew like Old Kent Road to play around with. Huge respect and thank you to Ryan Campbell-Birch who choreographed this piece and to the dancers too; it was a very, very cold day and they were on it every take.
